Anaheim, Calif. (Oct. 15) - RMA Land Construction, Inc., (RMA) was awarded a $9.8 Million design-build task order under a previously awarded Small Business Multiple Award Construction Contract from Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Southwest Division. Providing architectural and engineering services on RMA’s team is lead design firm, C.H. Guernsey. The project consists of the demolition and consolidation of Naval Warfare Center - Weapons Division buildings at Point Mugu, Naval Base Ventura County, California. The scope of work includes demolition of over 100,000 square feet of cold-war era complexes and deteriorating buildings and the new construction of laboratory and office facilities. RMA was one of six proposers on this task order. The project is scheduled for completion in April of 2012.
