RMA Wins Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) Renovation at Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, CA

Anaheim, Calif. (July 6) - RMA Land Construction, Inc., (RMA) was awarded a $9.2-million task order under our Small Business MACC IDIQ contract. The task order is for the renovation of three (3) two-story Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQs), Buildings B-21, B-22, and B-23, totaling approximately 41,400 SF, located within Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, CA. This task order is RMA’s third project at Point Mugu and third award under the SBMACC. The project also signifies another key BEQ renovation awarded to RMA, further demonstrating our history and commitment to providing modern and comfortable living spaces to enhance the lives of military personnel.

RMA is collaborating closely with Designer of Record, Guernsey, to provide full design and construction of all systems, including seismic upgrades, building hardening, standing seam metal roof, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, life safety, telecommunications, windows, interior walls, doors/frames, ceilings, and flooring finishes. Designed to achieve USGBC LEED®-NC v3 Silver certification, the renovation project is scheduled to be completed in July of 2013.
