RMA Earns Two Safety Awards From US Army Corps Of Engineers

Anaheim, Calif. (Aug. 10) - RMA Land Construction, Inc., (RMA) recently received two U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque District Commander’s Civil Construction Program Safety Achievement Awards for outstanding safety on two consecutive Border Fence Maintenance projects. The Albuquerque District awarded six safety awards, of which two were awarded to RMA, one of 300 other contractors. RMA maintains a safety record of zero claims, zero lost time incidents, and zero citations on government projects. RMA performed the repairs to breaches along the existing U.S.–Mexico International Border while faced with rugged terrain and a hostile work environment. The task orders involved 278 miles of fencing between the Arizona-New Mexico state line and approximately 80 miles of fencing east of El Paso, Texas.
